From Experience to Global Projects
1. How Sourcelingo Began
After nearly a decade of professional interpreting experience, Sourcelingo was founded in September 2024 with a clear objective: to provide professional interpreting services that help organizations communicate accurately across languages and cultures.
From the beginning, the company has focused on delivering reliable language support across a wide range of industries while providing responsive, professional service tailored to each client’s communication needs.
02. First Client
Shortly after its launch, Sourcelingo secured its first client, A&J Maquinaria, a family-owned company in Colombia that imports knuckleboom cranes from around the world.
This project marked the beginning of long-term client relationships and reinforced the company’s commitment to delivering professional interpreting services tailored to each organization’s operational needs.
03. First Recurring Client
In March 2025, a medical technology non-profit organization based in Africa selected Sourcelingo to provide professional simultaneous interpreting for its recurring virtual meetings, including support for French-speaking participants.
Held three times each month, these assignments marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership and demonstrated the company’s ability to deliver consistent, reliable interpreting services over time.
04. First Nonprofit Organization
In May 2025, during a period of significant immigration activity in the United States, Sourcelingo partnered with its first legal aid nonprofit organization supporting immigrant communities near the southern border.
This milestone reflected the company’s commitment to providing professional interpreting services for organizations working in sensitive and high-impact environments.
05. Long-Term International Projects
In June 2025, Sourcelingo began its first long-term industrial interpreting project in Barranquilla, Colombia, supporting a Chinese multinational company operating in the agricultural technology sector. Originally planned as a four-week assignment, the project expanded to ten weeks and included Chinese-Spanish interpreting during the installation and training of two packing line machines.
In September 2025, following the successful completion of that assignment, Sourcelingo began a three-month project in Seoul, South Korea, supporting a medical device consulting company. The work included Korean interpreting and document translation to facilitate communication between U.S. engineers and Korean management during factory quality control audits and technical troubleshooting.
These projects represented an important step in expanding Sourcelingo’s experience supporting complex international operations that require accurate multilingual communication across technical and industrial environments.
